GUIDE TO LOOKING YOUR BEST ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
A. Hair Care
- Three (3) Weeks Prior to Portrait
We like to see the Bride as soon as she schedules anappointment for her wedding portrait, or a minimum of three weeks before her portrait appointment.
At this time we will review the following:
- 30 minutes of hair consultation*.
- 15 minutes of nail and skin consultation*.
* There is not charge for these consultations.- One or Two Weeks Before Portrait Appointment
- Need 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours for a hair rehearsal.
- Bring veil, if available.- Day of Portrait
- Bride should wear a front button or zip-up blouse
- Bring veil.
- Allow 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours for hairstylist.
B. Skin Care
- Two months before wedding – schedule first facial and waxing
- One month before wedding – schedule second facial and waxing.
- One week before wedding – schedule third facial and waxing
*remember, waxing is a cumulative effect service, the more we do it, the smoother the skin and smaller the new hair growth.
C. Nail Care
- Three months before wedding – get on a good program for nails – strengthens etc. Plan a professional manicure every two weeks or so.
- Schedule manicure the day before the wedding.
- We’ll check your polish the day of the wedding and change it if necessary.
D. Sometime This Week
Allow yourself time for a one-hour massage. This is equally important for the Mother-of-the-Bride.
E. Day Before Wedding
- Bride should have her nails done.
- Manicures for the Bridal party.
F. Day of Wedding
- Schedule appointments for:
- Hair Stylist
- Makeup
- Manicurist to check nails for polish
- Allow 2 hours at the salon.
- Remember to wear a front button or zip-up blouse.
